SimpleLogin

Simple Login is an email aliasing service which allows you an infinite amount of addresses. How it works is that you create an address and then you pick one of your real addresses that it can forward to. Get it here.

Use Cases For Simple Login

I can’t come up with every single use case that people use an email aliasing service for. So what is some use cases for this? I use it to order food.  Another thing that you can use this for, is to receive newsletters from services. Maybe I’ve heard there is one edition of a newsletter I should read on a given day, after I received the news of the day, I now don’t want anymore. I then just delete the address.

Why Simple Login?

Why do you need Simple Login? You can use it to protect yourself from spam. It is your way of not getting spammed when you sign up for a newsletter of something else entirely. Only the imagination will stop you here, if you can use an email you can use Simple Login.

Disclaimer

I do have one disclaimer before you go an sign up to something important. If its something you wouldn’t want to lose, then do not use Simple Login for it. The reason is that its supposed to be a disposable email, not a permanent one. It’s a very bad idea to use Simple Login for services you care about.

Simple Login is Open Source

Simple Login is open source meaning that everyone with the right skills and knowledge can read and modify the code. This does mean that companies can still trademark. The real point is that people can make sure that there is nothing fishy going on with SimpleLogin and that is very helpful when you need a security audit.

That’s it for SimpleLogin. A great email aliasing service that everyone should be using.
